Quick Start Guide
Install & Launch
Download and install PresentClic on your Windows computer with PowerPoint.

Open PowerPoint
Start PowerPoint and open your presentation. PresentClic will automatically detect it.

Installation
System Requirements
- Windows 10 or later
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 or later
- 4GB RAM minimum
- Network connection (LAN or Internet)
Installation Steps
- Download PresentClic from the official website
- Run the installer as Administrator
- Follow the installation wizard
- Allow firewall exceptions when prompted
- Launch PresentClic from the desktop shortcut

LAN Version (Local Network)
The LAN version works entirely within your local network, providing maximum security and privacy.
How to Connect
Method 1: QR Code
- Ensure your phone is on the same WiFi network
- Open your phone's camera
- Scan the QR code displayed in PresentClic
- Tap the notification to open the remote

Method 2: Manual Entry
- Note the IP address shown (e.g., 192.168.1.100:8080)
- Open a web browser on your device
- Enter the IP address
- Enter the 6-character session code

Global Version (Internet)
The global version allows remote control from anywhere in the world through our secure servers.
How to Connect
- Ensure PresentClic is in "Global Mode" (toggle in settings)
- Share the session code or link with remote participants
- Participants visit

- They can now control your presentation remotely

Troubleshooting
Can't Connect to Remote
LAN Version:
- Ensure both devices are on the same WiFi network
- Check Windows Firewall settings - allow PresentClic
- Try disabling VPN if active
- Restart the PresentClic application
Global Version:
- Check internet connection on both devices
- Verify the session code is correct
- Try refreshing the browser page
PowerPoint Not Detected
- Open PowerPoint before starting PresentClic
- Run PresentClic as Administrator
- Check if PowerPoint is in Presentation Mode
- Update to the latest version of PowerPoint
Lag or Delays
- For LAN: Check WiFi signal strength

A: Currently, PresentClic supports only Microsoft PowerPoint. Google Slides support is planned for future versions.

Q: Is my presentation data secure?
A: In LAN mode, all data stays within your local network. In Global mode, we use end-to-end encryption for all communications.
Q: Can I use PresentClic offline?
A: Yes! The LAN version works completely offline within your local network. No internet connection required.

A: The desktop application currently supports only Windows. However, the remote control works on any device with a web browser, including Mac, iPad, and iPhone.

A: Reserved session codes are available with Pro and Enterprise subscriptions. This allows you to use the same memorable code for all your presentations.
